The sun slowly made its way up above the horizon, a watercolor gradient of pink and orange illuminating the sky as the stars began to fade. It was cold and dark in the house. It would appear to the unknowing eye that not a soul lived in this humble, solitary house deep in the wilderness. However, our lamp friend was beginning to stir from within his box. Everything that had happened came flooding back to him in a huge rush and he deeply sighed. Still in the box, still all by himself… the fact that nobody had come to claim him, even after all this time? The lamp was not angry anymore. He was just sad. This wasn’t the way things w
